An empty nostalgia for something unseen
Missing some subtle touch, just out of reach
Missing some subtle touch, another empty room
In a place I’ve outgrown, just out of reach
The disappointment of not quite warm enough
I climbed in and it was cold
That feeling of being put on hold
Your fingertips shrivel to help you grip
But the skin’s too supple, it tears and rips
Missing some subtle touch
Saw them live yesterday. These dudes (and a gal) came and blew the roof off the fucking club. The music aside - it was really refreshing to see a woman fronted metal act, because it brought something special, raw and vulnerable to the performance. I was a fan before the first song ended. This album represents this immidiacy perfectly, combining tenderness with storming rage. They deserve all you´ve got. donotcross
